- Bangkok - On our way to the Thai beaches we stopped for one night and a day in Bangkok... extravagant is how I would describe this city....for both it's nightlife and temple's decor
Our Itinerary
- Khao San Road - The lively "Backpacking district" full of bars at night AND during day. It was also where we stayed one night in a hostel we found off the street.
- Wat Pho - Temple of the Reclining Buddha - Beautiful HUGE Buddha and forests of tiled stuppas
- Wat Phrakaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) and the Royal Grand Palace - the most extravagant place I've ever been too. Ever square inch of the building is encrusted in gold, tile, or mirrors.
